Library Meeting Room Policy

Meeting room chairs

In making the meeting room available to the public, the Library Board subscribes to the tenets of the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights which states in part, "Libraries which make exhibit spaces and meeting rooms available to the public they serve should make such facilities available on an equitable basis, regardless of the beliefs or affiliations of individuals or groups requesting their use."

The Beaver Dam Community Library is accepting reservations for use of the library's Welsh Memorial Meeting Room for 2018. When not being used by the library, the meeting room is available for established not-for-profit groups and organizations for meetings and programs informational, educational, cultural or civic in nature. The meeting room may not be used for commercial, personal or family activities.

Reservations for the meeting room can be made by completing the Meeting Room Application. Meetings may not be scheduled more frequently than once a month by any qualifying non-library organization.
