The Department of Public Works performs all street snow & ice removal services within the City and sidewalks on fronting city-owned properties or easements.

From November 1st to April 1st. there is no parking on all city streets from 2:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. A parking permit can be purchased for $40 for those who have no alternative but to park on the street. Citations issued for non-permitted vehicles begin at $20 if the ticket is paid within five days. Permits can be picked up at the city finance office during business hours.
