Reopening Hours  Mailbox Library  Virtual Library Card

The Library will be reopening to the public with essential services on Monday, June 15. Library hours will be temporarily reduced at reopening.
Open hours will be Monday through Friday 9 am to 7 pm. Closed Saturday.

The Mailbox Library service allows Beaver Dam library card holders to request library books, audiobooks, DVDs and CDs free of charge from the Beaver Dam Community Library collection. The Mailbox Library Service will continue for seniors and other vulnerable patrons after reopening. The service will also be available to people who do not yet feel comfortable visiting the library building at this time.

During Stage 4 of reopening the library, virtual programs, remote reference services and the Digital Library are available. If you have any questions or need reference service, contact the library by phone at 920-887-4631, email infodesk@beaverdamlibrary.org, text 66746 (start your question with askbdcl) or message us on the library’s Facebook page. Staff are monitoring and responding to voicemails, emails, texts, Facebook comments.

Beaver Dam public library service has enriched and sustained the community for over 130 years. Opening in 1884, our library was the first library in the United States to have an "open stacks" policy, allowing borrowers to browse and pick books.
