Beaver Dam, Wisconsin

Welcome to the official website of the City of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin!

Public Education

The Beaver Dam Fire Department held a summer-long fund raising campaign. We asked local business for their support in our public education program. Thanks to their generosity, we have received donations totaling over $6300.00! Their donations have helped us conduct fire safety programs tailored to kindergarten third grade classes. We have also educated adults living and working in the Beaver Dam community in fire safety and extinguisher use. During the month of October will be visiting all the public and private grade schools and childcare centers in Beaver Dam with our fire prevention activities. We expect to deliver fire prevention programs to over 900 children.

Beaver Dam Professional Firefighters Charities

Beaver Dam Professional Firefighters Charities is a non-profit organization, which formed in 2013 is composed of current and former Beaver Dam firefighters of Beaver Dam Professional Firefighters Local 3432. The group aims to serve the Beaver Dam community through fundraising efforts and charitable activities such as "Operation Warmth", "Fill the Boot" and Children's Radiothon.

Fill the Boot

The Beaver Dam Fire Fighters recently donated $9,200 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) from their Fill the Boot campaign earlier this summer. "For six decades, the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) has fueled MDA's mission to assist families with lifesaving help by funding research to find treatments and cures and by rallying communities to fight back,” said MDA President and CEO Steven M. Derks. “Fire fighters are a significant part of MDA’s story of progress and do more for those we serve than any other group. They spend countless hours every year giving back to their communities, and we’re grateful for the support of these inspiring, selfless individuals who have made a profound impact on our families’ health, well-being and quality of life.”
A big thank you to FF/Medic Jatczak for organizing this fundraiser.

If interested in donating, make checks out to Beaver Dam Professional Firefighter Charities and mail to 205 S. Lincoln Avenue, Beaver Dam, WI 53916.
