The Beaver Dam pepper was brought to Beaver Dam by Hungarian immigrants in 1912. This festival occurs annually on the second Saturday in September. Come celebrate its heritage.

Concerts in the Park
Concerts in the Park

Concerts in the Park

Free entertainment for all ages! Family activities will vary each week and may include, arts/crafts, a caricature artist, a balloon sculptor, face painting and more. Bench seating is available, or bring your lawn chair or a blanket. Concessions are available. The schedule for concerts can be found in the Summer Activity Guide.

Dodge Co Fair

An annual festival of music, food and youth education, the Dodge County Fair is the areas main event with three nights of concerts on an outdoor stage surrounded by area youth exhibits and fabulous fried food. This event is typically the third week in August.

Holiday Parade

Downtown Beaver Dam Inc. is sponsors the community's annual holiday parade. The parade includes floats from local organizations, businesses, schools, churches, and individuals. Marching units will also be part of the parade. There is an after-party held at the Watermark, our city's community center.

For twenty-five years, Beaver Dam Lake Days has attracted many residents and visitors to Tahoe Park the second weekend in July.  The family festival includes lake activities, music, food, entertainment and fireworks.  It is a great opportunity to get together with old friends and to meet new ones!

Midwest Cream Cheese Contest

Beaver Dam, Wisconsin is home to one of only 2 Kraft Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese processing plants in the nation. Our dairy pride takes center stage as Beaver Dam annually plays host to the Midwest Cream Cheese Competition with Kraft products as preferred ingredients in any cream cheese recipe. Enter or attend the competition on the first Saturday every December.
