As a precautionary measure and to protect our office from the COVID-19 coronavirus, the City Attorney’s office back office door will be locked and our inner front office door in the waiting room will be locked to the public. Our office will remain open during business hours; however, only City personnel will be allowed to enter unless in the case of an emergency. Thank you.

The Beaver Dam Community Library is offering virtual programs and remote services, as well as the Digital Library. New users can register for a virtual card through the registration form on the library catalog at https://bdam.ent.sirsi.net. Have a question? Contact the library by phone at 920-887-4631, email infodesk@beaverdamlibrary.org, text 66746 (start your question with askbdcl) or message us on the library’s Facebook page. Staff are monitoring and responding to voicemails, emails, texts, Facebook. The library building will be reopening on February 1, 2021, at 9 am. Library business hours are 9 am to 6 pm weekdays and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The Mailbox Library service allows Beaver Dam library cardholders to request library books, audiobooks, DVDs, and CDs from the Beaver Dam Community Library collection during the COVID-19 library closure. We encourage you to use the various online opportunities available and librarians will respond to requests for assistance in accessing the digital library and virtual programming. We look forward to once again providing in-person service as soon as it is legally and safely possible.

Returning Library Items
Library patrons are encouraged to keep their library items at home until the library reopens. Outdoor book drops remain open. However, if you or any members of your household have any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not return your library materials right now. Remember, we are now a fine-free library. 

Digital Library
We encourage you to access the many digital services your library provides, such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines, databases, and online classes. Hoopla checkouts have been increased to 30 per patron per month so that you can access more TV series, movies, and music now, as well as eBooks and eAudiobooks. UTILITY BILL PAYMENTS: We will be extending the due date for utility bill payments from March 20 to March 27.

In addition to mailing your payments, two drop boxes are available at City Hall. One is located street-side on Lincoln Avenue, and the other is located next to the rear entrance.

We also encourage you to consider using Xpress Bill Pay, our convenient online bill payment service. Please visit our website at cityofbeaverdam.com and select “Pay Bills” from the home page to be directed to the Xpress Bill Pay website.
